How is "Stage" determined on the Portfolio Companies Report?

Stage is determined by the equity group (Series Seed, Series A, etc.) sold in the most recent equity financing for which we have documents.  If you know that a Portfolio Company has had subsequent financing and is at a later stage, please let your Customer Success representative know and they can update that data point.
